Order processing

Orders will be processed within 7 days. Whenever possible, orders will be sent out sooner than 7 days. Please bear in mind that this is a one person operation. I do the best I can and am eternally grateful for your patience.

Shipping areas and costs

At the moment, shipping is only available in Canada. Shipping options for the US that don’t cost an astronomical amount are being researched.

Local pickup – FREE

At checkout, you will have the option to choose to pick up your order at no extra charge. Local pickup is located in Centretown. Once your order is processed, you will receive an email with a link to schedule your pickup and the address. Please remember that order processing may take up to 7 days, so don’t panic if you haven’t immediately received the email. If you would like to pick up your order but the option hasn’t automatically popped up, please send an email at [email protected] to coordinate.

Canada-wide shipping – $15 flat rate

All orders shipped in Canada are sent via Canada Post Registered Mail in order to track and insure your order. You will receive an email with your tracking number as soon as your order has been processed, within 7 days of placing your order.

Canada-wide shipping on orders over $125 – FREE

Free orders will also be sent via Canada Post Registered Mail. Order total must come to $125 before taxes (if applicable) in order to qualify. You will receive an email with your tracking number as soon as your order has been processed, within 7 days of placing your order.

Expedited order within the Ottawa and Gatineau area

If you require an order sent out sooner than the regular processing and shipping times, please send an email to [email protected] to check the possibility of fulfilling your order quickly. This option may not always be possible. No String Chicken uses GopherIt Deliveries for expedited orders. Additional fees apply and will depend on your address, as per GopherIt’s rates.

Exchanges and returns

Requests for exchanges and returns must be sent in at [email protected] within 7 days of parcel delivery, or within 7 days of your scheduled local pickup. If you are requesting an exchange or return for any reason other than a product defect, you will be responsible for shipping costs. Exchange and return orders must be sent by Canada Post Registered Mail in order to track delivery. Refund or exchange will be issued upon reception of the order on my part.
